Microneedling using SkinPen®
Microneedling, also referred to as Collagen Induction Therapy, involves the use of ultra-fine needles to create precise micro-injuries in the dermis. This controlled damage triggers the body's natural healing process, promoting the slow and proper healing of thousands of tiny wounds. As a result, growth factors are released, enhancing cellular communication and normalizing cell functions. This leads to the production of new collagen, elastin, and skin tissue, resulting in smoother, firmer, and more toned skin.

Results
In the days and weeks after microneedling, you might notice that your skin burns or feels tight. Some people also have dry, flaking skin that improves with moisturizer. Most people need 3-4 microneedling treatments, usually about 4 weeks to 8 weeks apart. It can take a few weeks to months to see full results as the collagen is produced.

By following these simple guidelines, you can help ensure an effective treatment outcome.-
Results from microneedling treatments can typically be seen within a few days to weeks, with improvements in skin texture and tone. However, achieving significant results like reduced fine lines and acne scars may take several weeks to months. Consistent sessions and proper post-treatment care can optimize outcomes.
Depending on the targeted skin concern and microneedling device settings, you may experience mild to moderate discomfort during the treatment. However, a topical anesthetic is applied beforehand to minimize any discomfort.
Microneedling treatments typically involve minimal downtime. You may experience some redness and dry skin immediately after the procedure, but these usually subside within a few hours to a few days. Most people are able to resume their normal activities immediately after a microneedling treatment.
